Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight

Day 3 - Friday, September 17, 2010
Beijing (B/L)
Visit historic Tian An Men Square where Mao Tse
Tung first raised the flag of the People's Republic.
Then tour the Imperial Palace, also called the
Forbidden City and its gardens. After lunch, visit the
Hutong by pedicab and take a leisurely stroll through
the 700-year old narrow, winding streets that
surround the Forbidden City. Watch the daily
routines of the local people in their courtyard homes.
Day 4 - Saturday, September 18, 2010
Beijing (B/L/D)
This morning visit the Ming Tombs, the beautifully
decorated burial place of the emperors of Ming
Dynasty also known as the Underground Palace.
Afterwards, experience the unforgettable! Visit one
of the world's most remarkable sights - the Great
Wall of China, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor
Qin. The Great Wall stretches over 6,000 km across
the top of China. Late afternoon return to the hotel,
and pass by the Olympic Park. Evening enjoy a
delectable Peking Duck dinner.
Day 5 - Sunday, September 19, 2010
Beijing - Xian (B)
In the morning marvel at the splendid Temple of
Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Bountiful Harvest.
Afternoon, fly to the ancient city of Xian. Upon
arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel. Stay two nights
at the Grand New World Hotel Xian 4-star or similar.
Day 6 - Monday, September 20, 2010
Xian (B/L/D)
Spend the day exploring Xian's ancient monuments
including the site of 2,000-year-old Terra Cotta
Warriors. Enjoy a sumptuous Dumpling lunch. In
the afternoon, visit to Great Mosque and a walk
through the Muslim Quarter.
Day 7 - Tuesday, September 21, 2010
Xian - Shanghai (B/L)
After breakfast, visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum.
Depart Xian for Shanghai; Asia's most populated city
and the commercial capital of China. Upon arrival,
meet and transfer to the hotel. Stay four nights at
New World Mayfair Hotel 5-star or similar.
Day 8 - Wednesday, September 22, 2010
Shanghai (B/L)
This morning visit the famous Shanghai Museum,
housing the city's priceless collection of bronzes,
porcelain and paintings. Visit majestic Garden of
Mandarin Yu Yuan, built in 1577 and recently
restored to its original splendor. Next visit the Bund;
known as the "Wall Street" of the former foreign
powers, where, during the first half of 20th century
the European powers controlled the Chinese
economy.
Day 9 & 10 - September 23 & 24, 2010
Shanghai (B)
Free day is free at leisure to explore on your own or
visit 2010 Shanghai Expo. A 2-day pass will be
provided, please arrange own transportation.
Day 11 - Saturday, September 25, 2010
Shanghai - Home (B)
Head to the airport for your return flight home.
