Itinerary:

1. Arrive Cape Town, South Africa

After a warm welcome by our African Travel, Inc. representative you will be whisked away to your hotel, ideally located in the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Settle into South Africa time at Dash Bar, named after Queen Victoria's favorite pet.

2. Cape Town

Embark on a day of discovering the “The Fairest Cape.” The morning starts with a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, then cruise along the pristine coastline, relishing the breathtaking views along legendary Chapman's Peak. Visit the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

3. Cape Town

This morning we visit some of Cape Town’s amazing farmers' markets with a specialist food guide. Meet specialty traders, fine-food purveyors, bakers, organic gardeners and grocers. Continue to Constantia Valley, the oldest wine producing region in the southern hemisphere. The area is steeped in history and is home to award-winning wine farms and some of the best restaurants in the Cape.

4. Cape Town / Franschhoek

Leave behind the lively city and venture into the Winelands. Taste your way through the historic town of Stellenbosch on a guided walk. Visit Babylonstoren, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms, for wine tasting and a tour of the garden. Laid out over 8 acres, the garden is at the heart of the farm, and each of the 300 plant varieties is edible or has a medicinal value. Round off the day with an olive oil tasting at Tokara Wine Estate, set on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain.

5. Franschhoek

Enjoy the day at leisure in Franschhoek, one of the world’s top food and wine destinations. There are 52 wine farms and 48 restaurants that call the valley home and give visitors a taste of the culture, history and passion that have come together here. The village has something for everyone.

6. Franschhoek

Just a short distance from the coastal village of Hermanus, a picture-perfect drive brings you to the elevated wine estates of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Meaning “heaven and earth”, the hills that embrace the valley seem to touch the sky. Home to award-winning boutique estates, the region is especially known for its Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.

7. Franschhoek / Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve

After a delicious breakfast, bid adieu to Franschhoek - you’re off to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve! Adjacent to Kruger National Park, this renowned reserve offers an extraordinary safari experience. A kaleidoscope of wildlife is at your fingertips, including the coveted "Big Five." There are no fences between Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, so wildlife roams freely in this epic natural environment.

8. Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve

Twice-daily game drives provide plenty of opportunities to witness the plethora of local wildlife. Safari connoisseurs often choose Sabi Sand Game Reserve as it offers one of the highest densities of wildlife per hectare. More than 200 different species coexist in abundance, including Africa’s most elusive and distinguished predator - the leopard.

9. Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve

Another day of exploration awaits with morning and late afternoon game drives, the latter extending into the twilight in an effort to showcase the fascinating nocturnal creatures and the lions on the hunt. Witness a magnificent African sunset while sipping a sundowner somewhere in the bush before celebrating with a communal dinner back at the lodge.

10. Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve / Depart

Venture on one last early morning game drive, a bittersweet farewell. Breakfast is included before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg airport for your onward arrangements.
