    DAY 1 CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

    Look forward to a warm welcome on arrival in Cape Town. A transfer takes you to the 5-star Silo Hotel located in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. This unique and stunning property, built in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex, is a magical place with beautiful individually designed and decorated rooms. THE SILO

    DAY 2 CAPE TOWN

    The day is yours to fill with fun adventures and sights. Perhaps go on a guided city tour (additional cost) or visit the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain, marvel at the colorful Malay Quarter, stroll through the Company Gardens, past the Houses of Parliament, and then test your bargaining skills at the bustling Greenmarket Square.     DAY 3 & 4 CAPE TOWN

    The next two days are at leisure. We suggest a Cape Peninsula Tour. On this tour you will see why the area earned the name of The Fairest Cape. Hug the cliffs as you snake along legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Or for the wine connoisseurs, enjoy a sojourn into the nearby winelands and learn about the process of wine making, from grape to goblet. THE SILO

    DAY 5 CAPE TOWN / THORNYBUSH PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE

    Bid farewell to Cape Town and fly off to your tented camp in the renowned Thornybush Nature Reserve, which has earned its reputation as one of the country’s finest bush experiences. Meet for high tea and set off on your first thrilling afternoon game drive which takes you into the night to view the more elusive nocturnal species. Return to camp for a sumptuous dinner and a relaxing evening around the fireplace. SASEKA TENTED CAMP

    DAY 6 & 7 THORNYBUSH PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE

    With your skilled ranger and tracker, explore the rarer sights and wonders of the bush during your game viewing activities. This area is one of the finest safari areas in South Africa with an extremely high density of wildlife and you are sure to be enthralled by your wildlife experience! Perhaps take a guided walk through the bush or arrange for a candle-lit alfresco dinner as the Southern Cross begins to twinkle. SASEKA TENTED CAMP

    DAY 8 THORNYBUSH PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE

    Greet the dawn on one final game drive. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, and then relax until time to transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, connect to your international departure flight.


    Book this itinerary by July 31, 2019 for travel ending by December 14, 2019 and receive a complimentary visit to the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA), a Cape Peninsula tour and a Cape Winelands tour. Price is in CAD Dollars per person, based on double occupancy.
